Job Summary Dreamfarm is looking for an experienced warehouse associate to join our San Leandro team. Salary and Benefits Starting salary of $33,280 per annum ($16 per hour). Your salary will increase to $35,360 ($17 per hour) after the completion of a 3 month probationary period. You will be eligible to participate in our group health plans, accrue paid vacation and sick time, 401k and FSA plans immediately on commencement of your employment. About Dreamfarm We are Dreamfarm. Essential Responsibilities • Pulling parts from the appropriate bins and pallets and delivering to staging area for packing and loading. • Packing and loading of all direct to consumer and wholesale orders in the most efficient way to ensure cost effective and safe delivery of the goods to the customer. • Carrying out the repackaging or labelling of special wholesale customer orders. • Loading stock onto pallets and moving palletised stock using a pallet jack. • Loading and unloading of trucks, pallets and shipping containers safely, efficiently and accurately. • Sorting stock and and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. • Verifying inventory levels with regular, accurate stock counts. • Classifying all returns according to integrity and condition of stock, and preparing necessary forms for inventory adjustments. • Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by maintaining order and housekeeping of assigned work areas, including but not limited to sweeping and mopping. • Processing orders and paperwork accurately and with attention to detail. • Complying with established company policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. Personal Requirements, Education & Qualifications • Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent. • Must understand and be able to apply basic math principals. • Must possess strong written and verbal English language skills. • Must have a very strong eye for detail and be able to ensure accuracy in their work. • Must be a proactive problem solver and thoughtful in approach to addressing challenges. • Must have basic computer skills. • Must have a positive attitude and be a fit with the Dreamfarm culture. • Forklift qualification beneficial but not a requirement. • Must be able to pass a background check. Physical Requirements • Should not have any lifting or bending restrictions. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. • Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 40lbs regularly and up to 70lbs from time to time. • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet. • Must be able to tolerate high and low temperatures.
