First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa is looking for a Contemporary Worship Guitar/Bass player The purpose of this ministry is to assist the Contemporary Worship Team Leader as a guitar accompanist and to provide additional leadership for the contemporary worship music of First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa. Experience as a member of contemporary worship and/or contemporary music ensembles (i.e. pop/rock/jazz/contemporary gospel). Some professional experience is desirable. Guitarist with ability to play the electric bass guitar as needed. Ability to play electric guitar and provide a controlled sound that blends with the ensemble by use of effects, amplifiers etc. is desirable but not required. Ability to improvise pop/rock harmonic/rhythmic accompaniment over chord changes provided by lead sheets and chord/lyric sheets. Ability to improvise solo over chord changes is desirable but not required. Vocal and worship leading ability preferred but not required. If interested, please reply here through email.
