Press release from the City of Tampa: 07/07/2021 On 7/7/2021 at 6:45 am, the victim was driving Westbound on W. Hillsborough Avenue and entered the left turn lane approaching N. Howard Avenue. The victim then turned in front of a Lexus SUV approaching in the Eastbound lanes on W. Hillsborough Ave. The Lexus attempted to avoid the crash but was unable to avoid a collision with the victim's Toyota Prius. The victim, an adult white female, was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
