This three day hands-on workshop at the Bühler FAC is directed towards practical work and utilizes Bühler’s twin screw extrusion technology. Subjects CoveredBasics of extrusion technology.Theoretical and practical aspects of extrusion parameters.Application of extrusion technology in the food industry: modified flours and ingredients, breadcrumbs, flat-bread, croutons, RTE cereals & flakes.Plant-based meat alternatives and texturized vegetable proteins.Other topics may be covered upon request.Who BenefitsThis workshop is intended for operation supervisors, engineering or R&D personnel, etc. — i.e. individuals who are actively involved in technological aspects and feasibility considerations of extrusion. Course Fee$1,810.00 Included in this fee are course documentation, lunches, coffee during breaks, one social evening with dinner. Not included are hotel accommodations, traveling costs, transportation from airport to hotel, etc. Sales taxes are charged on the course fee. The total value for registrants will be $1,946 (Course fee + Sales Taxes). CancellationsFor cancellations received prior to Aug. 31st, 2021, 94% of the course fee will be refunded ($1,699.81). After this date, no refund will be made, but another participant from the same company can be swapped. If Bühler cancels this workshop, the course fee will be 100% refunded.
