By Lauren Pastrana, CBS Miami July 8, 2021 Alesha Dillon proudly shows her academic certificates, of which there are several, and the Atlantic Technical College graduate then headed straight to the frontlines of the pandemic, as a traveling licensed practical nurse. "I've seen some traumatizing things, things that I was not prepared for," Dillon shared, including that life on the road is not easy. "You are away from family for long periods of time. The longest I've ever been away from family was six months, that was last year, that was rough." Dillon worked in California, Colorado, Georgia, six days a week, while also studying to become a registered nurse.
