A former technology leader and symphony violinist, Dixon walked away from a distinguished career to follow his dream full-time, and invented a whole new music genre. Dixon now improvises on a 5-string electric violin with a looping system he developed to create an all-live one-man symphony, guided by his remarkable personal story of life transformation. https://dixonsviolin.com/ https://www.facebook.com/dixonsviolin/videos/1810740125664989/ About Jordan Hamilton: Cellist and vocalist Jordan Hamilton merges musical styles to tell stories of the human experience through a variety of musical genres. A member of Last Gasp Collective and the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Jordan can be found performing primarily in the Midwest where he has opened for national acts such as Eric Roberson and Nappy Roots. His most recent release "Vibrations" is a compilation of feelings expressed in sound with no words. http://www.jordanhamiltonmusic.com/ About Emily Burns: Americana Wildflowers amongst blades of Bluegrass. Have you Escaped the Pavement lately? Hailed as "The most dynamic Americana group out of Detroit, Michigan" Escaping Pavement masterfully blends and blurs the lines of Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana. Their unique joint frontperson arrangement, with Emily Burns and Aaron Markovitz sharing equally in singing, songwriting, and guitar playing allows for astounding, harmony-driven, musical interplay that has earned them slots on bills with the likes of The Tim O’Brien Band, Front Country, The Dead South, Justin Townes Earle, Mountain Heart, and Joan Osborne. With multiple festival appearances scheduled, a 2017 Detroit Music Award win for Outstanding Americana Recording, over 700 shows under their belt, an ongoing project comprised of music inspired by the National Parks, and a non-stop touring schedule, this duo is spreading their roots-based message, far and wide. Americana fans will find a lot to love in Escaping Pavement. Find out why Jeff Milo of the Detroit Free Press and Deepcutz Blog said, "Escaping Pavement make sparseness stunning. The acoustic guitar and mandolin crackle together like a mesmerizing bonfire, and the voices of Emily Burns and Aaron Markovitz blend together like the azure purple and tawny oranges of vibrant sunset…" https://escapingpavement.com/
