STAMFORD, CT — Mayor David Martin signed an executive order earlier this week to reopen the Stamford Government Center to the public, effective Monday, July 12. Over the past year and a half, residents could only enter by appointment only. The general public will be required to properly wear a face covering at all times while in the Government Center.Employees who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a face covering while in the Government Center except at times when interacting with the public when wearing a face covering shall be required. Procedures to validate that an employee is fully vaccinated will be issued within the next several weeks.Employees who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a face covering at all times while in the Government Center and maintain social distancing protocols.Kiosks have been set up in the lobby of the Government Center to reduce traffic in the building and aid social distancing.Services are available by appointment.To view the entire executive order, click here.
