A storybook and learning about archaeology with activities! Our past is a puzzle missing the box and most of its pieces. Join us as we explore how archaeology helps us put those pieces together to see the picture! This program features the reading of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱'𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 by Virginia Walton Pilegard and our all-time favorite 𝗣𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵 activity where kids decorate a terracotta saucer, smash it, and then try to put it back together! Archaeology Storytime is designed for grades K-6, but all are welcome. FREE after park entry fee. Our mission is to promote and facilitate the conservation, study, and public understanding of Florida's archaeological heritage with programs for all ages throughout Florida.
