Press release from the Kennebec Intra-District Schools Regional School Unit 2: July 7, 2021 RSU #2 will be destroying special education records of former students who were in special education and have a DOB between January 1, 1994 – December 31, 1994. A permanent record of the student's name, address, phone, official high school transcript (if applicable), grades, attendance records, classes attended, grade level completed, and year completed shall be maintained at each of the RSU's high schools without time limitation. Former students and/or legal guardians may obtain their special education records by August 20, 2021. Records not picked up will be destroyed. Proper identification will be required when picking up the records. Please contact the Office of Special Services at (207) 622-6351 ext. 417 to arrange a pickup time.
