Music is healing for the soul, we provide care by sharing our own art form of therapy with others. Musical Companion Care Attendants (MCCA's) @~Angel Wings~ will help anyone, including disabled, chronically ill and cognitively challenged older people. Some personal care attendants simply assist recently released patients who have short-term needs. In many cases, they take care of these clients in their homes by bringing back their youth through music therapy. They may also provide their services in hospices or other medical facilities to keep clients involved in community activities. Their presence is often required for the elderly or the physically and/or mentally disabled who need help in a musically therapeutic way. Musical Companion Care Attendants (MCCA's) @ ~Angel Wings~ are also known as personal and home care aides, companions and caregivers. One attendant may have four or five clients per day, which requires that they carefully block out their time between clients. Each client can choose however they would like to spend their time. They can listen and or sing along; it's really all based upon what we figure out about each individual client. MCCA's take the time to get to know each client on a casual personal level by conversing and listening to stories. Eventually the relationship will just evolve into a beautiful melody. Uplifting the spirits and bringing out the youthfulness of each client. Musical Companion Care Attendants (MCCA's) take the time to learn what musical era their clients grew up in; from there, we start listening and figuring out what songs are going to be most therapeutic for our client's soul. You'd be surprised how music can take you back to the best times of your life. Music, because of its deep connections with the brain, is intrinsically meaningful to humanity as a race. We thrive off it. It drives our actions and emotions, and its influence on our brains creates a sense of unity with music that few other art forms can provide.
