PLEASE HELP SHARE Job Position: Malibu Farmers' Market Market Assistant The Cornucopia Foundation is seeking a Farmers Market Assistant for immediate hire. The Farmers Market Assistant will serve as the liaison between the Farmers Market Manager and vendors and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Farmers Market Assistant will oversee the setup and break down of the market, collect fees, represent market management, ensure that vendors comply with all policies and rules of the market, and take pictures for the social media accounts. Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic about sustainability to work with a local nonprofit that brings local foods and environmental education programs to the community. Position: Farmers Market Assistant Schedule: Every Sunday, year round, 7 AM - 4:30 PM Must have holiday availability Requirements: ● Excellent communication and people skills ● Ability to be tactful yet firm ● Must be able to lift 30 lbs ● Must be able to work all 49/52 Sundays that the market is open ● Reliable car, cell phone ● Must live within 30 minutes of Malibu Compensation: This is a paid position, which can be used as an internship credit as well.
