SJC Ventures welcomes The Taste Boutique to The Interlock

SJC Ventures, a premier Atlanta-based mixed-use, grocery-anchored retail and multifamily development firm, recently signed new tenant The Taste Boutique to The Interlock. Located at 1115 Howell Mill Road Northwest in Atlanta, The Interlock is a $450 million mixed-use center with unparalleled entertainment, living and dining options, office space and outdoor connections, amenities and parks.  The Taste Boutique, a high-end lifestyle store, will occupy 1,448 square feet of space and offer women’s and men’s apparel, curated home decor items and elevated gifts. This will be the first brick and mortar store for the boutique, which has operated entirely online for 10 years. “Our first store needed the perfect location,” said Teresa Caldwell, owner of The Taste Boutique. “We were confident that The Interlock's collection of food, drink and retail concepts alongside a cool, new hotel (Bellyard) and apartment community (Windsor), plus the development's great West Midtown location, would become a premier destination for entertainment, dining and shopping. There was nothing quite like The Interlock in the marketplace, and when we heard about the rooftop pool and restaurant atop the Bellyard, we knew The Taste Boutique had to be there.” The boutique’s motto is "Style that makes you stand out." Teresa Caldwell is also the chief executive officer and chief designer of Taste Interior Design, and a former stylist. “As far as home decor and our gifts, we felt Atlanta needed a destination for cool, decorative items and gifts that will make you say "wow,” said Caldwell, who is an accomplished entrepreneur, interior designer, show creator and author.  “We are thrilled to offer another first-to-market location at The Interlock and look forward to having this unique fashion boutique at the center,” said Justin Latone, senior vice president of leasing at SJC Ventures. Most recently, SJC Ventures, the developer of The Interlock, welcomed the first U.S. location for Puttshack, several first-to-market restaurants and The Bellyard, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel, among others. The developer also signed a lease with Publix Super Markets, the largest and fastest-growing employee-owned supermarket chain in the U.S. for Phase two.  The Taste Boutique is expected to open early 2022.
