Compensation: Begins at $10.50 hourly with competitive raises up to $30 an hour depending on job performance. Quick promotions are possible due to work performance. Applicant Requirements *Positive and friendly attitude *Willingness to learn new skills * Works well with teamwork *Ability to stand for 6-7 Hours Previous experience is not necessary. This position begin with training as a cashier and providing customer service, before promotion to other roles. General Responsibilities of the Cashier Position *Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales. *Ability to calculate and process transactions quickly and accurately *Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift. *Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, especially with difficult customers *Answer any customer inquiries, and use your knowledge of store layout and product content to give directions as needed. *Assist customers with bagging and carrying products as needed. *Maintain a cleanly work environment, keeping the register and counter clear for incoming customers.
