Looking for chihuahua

My family said goodbye to our 16 year old chihuahua earlier this year and we are now opening our hearts for another. We are looking for a black, white, or black and white chihuahua. Male or female. Preferably young. Preferably short haired. We are a family of four, kids are 4 and 8 yrs. Kids are both very good with small animals, not rough, and always did well with our previous chihuahua who was 7lbs. We are also open to mixes or possibly another small breed, but have a preference for chi’s... 🙂 Mom is home most of the time, works 20hrs a week and we homeschool, so we are home a lot! If you have one to rehome or know of one sitting in a shelter, let me know. We are not interested in purchasing from breeders. Thank you!
