Seeking ALL Instruments and Singers. Advanced 8 Piece Start Up Band that includes a 3 Piece Horn Section is resuming after a Rona Hiatus and seeking experienced players who can learn songs quickly and are eager to play. We know 40 songs and are ready to gig after 4 - 7 rehearsals. We have written charts, a free place to practice, a PA system and a recording studio. This is a big band and consider it a collective project. We need to have a full Rolodex of qualified players that can sub in and out. You must be patient, have a good work ethic and play nice with others. We are mostly 40+ years old are proficient in our instruments. We have absolutely no tolerance for BS, Drama, excuses, not being on time or not having done your homework. We show up and rehearse; not practice. Hit it and quit it! Please do not reply if you have child care, personal health, relational issues or have been a flake int he past. The intention of this group is to build it into a top level Wedding / Events level band in the RDU area. We perform the best of the 60's to Today with James Brown, Maceo Parker, Tower of Power, Sly and Family Stone, Parliament Funkadelic, Motown, Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, Bob Marley and many others. Rehearsals are in Cary near Bond Park @ 27513. Include links to your playing or singing. Responses that do not include at least a basic cell phone / audio demo are ignored. Gospel Church or College trained musicians are preferred. Thanks
