Busy downtown florist is looking for a dedicated and responsible part-time Flower Processor and Inventory Clerk. Responsibilities include: unboxing flowers, cleaning and hydrating flowers, tracking inventory and rotating freshness. Customer service is a team environment and candidates will greet customers, answer phones and take orders as needed. Characteristics of a successful candidate include: • Attention to detail and well organized • Works well on a team • Follows directions and is able to take responsibility • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Able to stand for a full shift • Valid Driver's License • Friendly, reliable, punctual This is a flower shop support staff and not a design position. Retail experience is required. Position is permanent part-time, 20 - 25 hours a week (approximately M, W, Fri), with some Saturdays and extra hours at holidays.
