Sports Facility in Scripps Ranch is looking for a facility maintenance employee. The position will require the employee to maintain the interior and exterior of the facility. Have experience in fixing and repairing equipment. Installing and moving of equipment. Facility maintenance position will handle the removal of trash/recycling. Keep bathrooms clean and in working order. Clean floors and carpets. Keep the facility free of trash and debris during scheduled events. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ideal candidate will have experience working in large commercial facilities. Feel comfortable working with large groups in the facility. Have some understanding of state codes and federal guidelines pertaining to the storage of chemicals and equipment. Some experience in landscaping and using power tools proficiently is a plus. Facilities Maintenance position requires a self motivated, organized and hardworking individual. Need to feel comfortable working in a setting with large groups or by yourself with little or no supervision. The position is part time. (25-30 hours a week). Must be available on weekends and some weekdays. Working weekends is mandatory for the facilities position. Additional facilities maintenance position open at our San Marcos location.
