Home Fire Stove & Grill City is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual with experience in the fireplace service and repair trade to be our new Service Technician. Home Fire Stove & Grill City has been a hearth industry leader for over 40 years and is looking to expand our Service Technicians Team. As a forward-facing member of the Home Fire Stove team, Service Technicians will be required to: • Service fireplaces, stoves, inserts and other hearth and heating products with precision and safety • Provide excellent care to customer and their homes and property throughout the service process • Professionally communicate to customer the services performed, and explain product safety and usage • Maintain a clean and stocked work vehicle • Demonstrate willingness to work overtime when required • Maintain a professional appearance and manner representing Home Fire Stove with the utmost care and integrity Job Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Valid Oregon driver’s license with good driving record • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs • Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools • Flexibility to work expected overtime when required • Willingness to learn and be taught • General mechanical aptitude
