Job Description An established Central Oregon-based company seeks an experienced excavation team member. Must be proficient in operating various pieces of heavy equipment, including excavator, skid steer, and backhoe. Our ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented attitude, working successfully with contractors, private customers and their coworkers in a friendly and professional manner at all times. They will be dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and passionate about providing a quality product. This is an hourly, full-time position. CDL is not required. Pay will be based on experience Position Requirements: • Experience in the excavation industry as an operator. • Skilled with excavators from mini to large class. • Maintain safe work practices and project cleanliness and equipment. • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. • Basic understanding of survey staking and blueprint/plan reading. • Experience with lasers and grade checking. • Willingness and skilled for occasional use of shovel and hand tools. • Be quality, safety and production minded. • Flexibility to occasionally work overtime and weekends • Must be physically capable of getting in and out of deep excavations/trenches. • Willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules. • Display of professional and courteous attitude towards all team members, customers, and sub-contractors. • Pass a pre-employment background check.
