A GREAT environment to learn and grow. • Spray / Pest Control technician (Plant Health Care Specialist) We have succesfully operated our family tree and shrub care service for over 30 years, and are expanding immediately, in Northwest / Central NJ (Pittstown, NJ). This is a career opportunity, not just a job. Owned and operated by N.J. Licensed Tree Experts, we seek knowledgeable applicants who want to expand their educational horizons, work to improve themselves (and our many trees!), and have great work habits and abilities. When not performing specialized treatments, you may be asked to assist with basic tree maintenance operations, in the field, with our arborists, depending on your skills and abilities. We will train the right person! You must have: 1. valid driver's license 2. reliable transportation 3. at least a basic knowledge of common tree and shrub species 4. good communication skills 5. good organizational skills, ability to manage files 6. ability to lift heavy objects, work with pumps, engines, sprayer equipment 7. desire to work outdoors, even in the HEAT! 8. good references (background check required) 9. desire to work with pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals SAFELY 10. ability to perform mathematic calculations, good reading skills, display good penmanship.
