Do you like plants? Like aquarium fish? Want to work around plants all day? Work under the sun part of the time instead of florescent lights behind a desk? We are plant people looking for more plant people. We have a greenhouse North of Nicholasville, near the Toyota dealer and are looking for some help. We grow, ship and sell aquarium plants. We need help in our shipping department. Filling orders. Stuffing Boxes. Labeling boxes. Making boxes. Filling Fertilizers. You will be required to help clean large 8x8 basins full on plants and algae. We will be working around plants? Yes. Will you be playing with plants all day. NO. Some days you might Bag up or Unbag 1000+ plants. (Wrapping plants in wet paper, sealing them in plastic bags) Other days you will be boxing up and shipping out 200 orders and not hardly walk in the greenhouse. You don't need to know the plants. You need a good attitude and a willingness to work. We have a strong team right now. We work together. Our team knows when it is time to step on the gas and get the job done and when it's time for more of a lower gear. Monday's Tuesdays and Wednesdays are an absolute must as these are the days of heavy shipping. You will get dirty and wet, and it does get hot. You will need good boots. (After a month we will buy you a pair) We are looking for someone almost FULL Time. MTWTH. 30-40 hours a week Fridays are a discussion Starting pay is $11 the an hour the first 30 days, after a full week, we talk about more. (YOU GET PAID FOR VALUE- Not YOUR TIME. If you are awesome, you will get paid better- Prove it. We are GROWING) If you like aquariums, fish and particularly aquarium plants, this is a great opportunity to get into a small but fast growing company early. You must have your own reliable transportation to and from work. Hours are somewhat flexible 9:00-5:30 MTW ARE A MUST. Thursdays are lighter. We have flexibility Thursdays and Fridays. But Monday, Tuesday Wednesday are a must. You can rock out with headphones on if you want while planting or working once ya know what you are doing.
