Machine Technologies is in search of a shop helper. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Forklift certification a plus, but will train the right person. Shop helper expectations are as follows: • PACKAGE & ORGANIZE PARTS • PUT TOGETHER ORDERS OFF OF PACKSLIPS OR PART NUMBER LISTS TO ASSURE SHIPPMENTS ARE COMPLETE AND NOT MISSING ANY PARTS. • LOAD AND UNLOAD TRUCKS • DELIVER AND PICK UP PARTS OR MATERIAL AT CUSTOMERS AND VENDORS • KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN • ADVISE WHEN SHIPPING INVENTORY IS LOW TO AVOID STOCK OUTS (BOXES, TAPE, ETC.) • DROP OFF SCRAP AT SCRAP RECYLER • SET UP, VERIFY AND RUN SAW • BREAK APART MATERIAL ORDERS, VERIFY SIZE, MATERIAL TYPE, QTY AND PUT WITH JOB TAGS ON THE SHELF. NOTIFY SHERRY OF ANY DISCREPANCIES. This is a part time position that will more than likely grow to full time after a time.
