Essential Job Functions:  Material handling can be defined as moving any bulk or finished good within the warehouse or between warehouses while keeping accurate inventory. Material handling requires safety, good housekeeping, basic math, lifting, pulling, pushing, and safe use of equipment such as box cutter, pallet jack, forklift, and order picker. Material handling also needs knowledge of RF scanners, basic computer skills, Hazmat/Hazcom training, GMP training, good communication skills, attention to lots, expiration dates, and FIFO. Requirements:  Ability in handling moving, opening, and supplying the line with bulk materials; or boxing, counting, and moving finished goods.  Operation of box opening machine  Attention to lot numbers and expiration dates  Good math skills  Operation of conveyer belt, tape machines, and label applicators  Manual pallet jack  Safety training  Knife Safety training  Hazmat/Hazcom training  Verbal communication  Ability to work as part of a team  No excessive absences or late arrivals
