I see a lot wrong with this solution, but I'll just mention one. What happens if people don't want to leave their home and give up all their possessions, family/friends, and culture? That is tough for anybody to do. I am not saying that no immigrants from Afghanistan should come over, only that it is not really a solution to the problem. But, ideas are a good thing and maybe the idea will inspire more thought. It is not an easy problem to solve or it would have been solved. The citizens of the country have to stand up to the Taliban and the support of the US helped them do that. But that is extremely difficult since the Taliban have a military and is based on fanatical and brutal interpretation of Islam, and it is just not possible for the US to stay there forever.
