Description

We are looking for a Janitor/Porter that is contracted, carrying their own liability insurance, has reliable transportation in order to take care of client properties/buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance and porter duties. The goal is to keep designated properties in a clean and orderly condition. We provide all needed cleaning supplies. Properties are located in the Tigard and Downtown Portland area, with the possibility of expanding from Wilsonville to southwest Washington. Pay is based on per service rather than per hour. The position starts as part-time but is able to move to full-time as properties can be accumulated. Responsibilities Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain paper products in restrooms Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a janitor The ability to work nights and weekends Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and be a good communicator with the Operations Coordinator Be in possession of a valid Driver's License For consideration, please send your resume along with the application.
