With a focus on whole-health, a passionate commitment to family support, an unmatched outcome research effort and innovative programming, Evoke Therapy Programs offers teens, young adults and families a journey toward fulfillment and success. Field Instructors role-model healthy expressions of emotion and appropriate behavior, as well as lead by example and share their passion for healthy living and wilderness to help participants connect positively to their experience. Working in a team of four to five with a group of eight to ten clients, Instructors will:
+ Teach basic backpacking skills and low-impact camping ethics
+ Teach yoga and mindfulness practices
+ Facilitate team building initiatives and group therapy
+ Coach communication skills and challenge group dynamics
With the Cascade Range in Oregon as a backdrop, instructors will work a rotating schedule of eight days on and six days off. Allowing for ample time to explore the Pacific Northwest and beyond! Hiring for both year-round and seasonal employment. Pay starts at $211/day for full-time Field Instructors and extends to $244/day for Mentor Field Instructors with scheduled commitment bonuses. Benefits include full health and dental insurance, medical and professional training stipends and a variety of professional gear deals. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age; preference is given to those with certification in WFR, EMT and/or WEMT. Prospective Instructors must attend a week-long orientation session in the field.
