Meet April! The shy, yet loving and inquisitive 3-year-old calico. I have been fostering April for about a month, and I have learned a lot about this girl. Yes, she is shy (and a bit overweight), but she is one of the sweetest fosters I have ever had the pleasure of welcoming into my home. Once she gets to know you, she will be purring next to you in no time. Her favorite hobby is basking in the sun by the window, and playing with her string toys. April is FIV positive, but this should not deter you. She can live a long, healthy life. Although she does OKAY with other cats, I think it would be best for her to be an only cat. She is fostered through the Foster Ambassador Program at the Kentucky Humane Society. Since she is FIV positive, she is part of the Fabulous FIVe program at KHS.
