Description
Thanks for considering the "Equipment Solutions Expert" (ESE) position with the Groen Landscape team. What is an Equipment Solutions Expert? An ESE is a mechanic + organizer. An ESE is someone devoted to helping build a PROCESS by which all equipment is maintained, repaired, and tracked. They are sometimes "firefighters", but mostly have a proactive approach to "prevent forest fires". This job is not for you if... You don't do well under stress or work well with other team members. We predict the first 3-6 months will be very challenging to not only get a hold on the current status but to also change the culture of the teams and how they use the equipment. You primarily will work alone, but you will be leading other team members through education and by example. If you are not comfortable leading when the situation arises and being the needed "coach, psychiatrist, or drill sergeant" then this is not going to be a good fit. This job is for you if... You have a love for organization, clanking metal, dirty hands, and ensuring everyone has what they need when they need it. We believe in Dreaming Big and Building to Last so everything we pursue needs to be scalable and sustainable. You will help lead through the gap of our current working frustrations to a healthy, thriving equipment care process. To get a quick backroom tour click here: We are looking for someone to: 1) Maintain an existing fleet of gas trucks, diesel skid steers, diesel dingos, and gas small engine power tools. 2) Help set up a consistent re-occurring maintenance schedule for oil changes, hydraulics, winter/summer plow changes, etc. 3) Diagnose repairs, order parts, and repair equipment as needed in a reasonable time frame. How we will help you achieve the 3Fs: (Freedom of Time) Flexible Hours during the week or weekends averaging 10-20 hours per week to start. We are considering making this a full-time position if interested to discuss further opportunity. (Job Fulfillment) If you like to keep machines running smooth and problem solve we have the equipment waiting for you plus a climate-controlled shop for cold/ rainy days. Check out our shop tour here: (insert video) (Freedom of Finance) We believe the person makes the position. While having some idea of past pay rates for similar positions we feel comfortable starting our new part-time team member at a range of $35-$75 per hour depending on your (ACE) Attitude, Communication Skills, & Experience. To learn more about how you will contribute to our love of Outdoor Living click here: here: What does the future look like? We don't know, but as mentioned before we dream big! This could very quickly develop into a full-time position of $50-$75k per year. This would require a strong emphasis on leadership and organization skills to 'scale' the process and create clockwork systems for success! What to expect next? 1) Please fill out the online form below. 2) Our team will review the form and someone will reach out in 2-7 business days with a follow-up if we like what we see. 3) If the phone meeting goes well we look forward to scheduling an onsite interview to dive deeper.
