Do you like punk, ska and reggae. Me too but I’m 38 now and not only do the kids these days not like it I also can’t stay up that late to play a show. I play ( in order of talent/skill) bass, drums and guitar. I’m looking for people to jam with once or twice a week. I have a small practice space in my basement and I’m probably free on weekend afternoons. Things I will not tolerate 1-thinking you are going to be famous. You are not and won’t be. You answered an ad on Craigslist for fuck sake. 2-thinking you are actually any good. If you were, #1 would have happened but it didn’t so you are mediocre at best same as myself. 3-huge unnecessary rigs that are too complicated. Be simple. I’m too high to wait for you to check all your pedals. Let’s play music. Any more than 2 effects is mastrubating. All I require is that you like ska,punk and reggae, be near the NW burbs and like to jam. We can practice songs if you want but we can improvise everything too. It’s probably best for you to be 36-45 and own a house and have a career so we agree that this is a hobby. You must be cool with pot smoking and beer drinking because other than playing music that’s what we will be doing.
