Job Duties: Framing dead-ends, tangents, guys, placing anchors, and storage loops for new ADSS/aerial fiber Installing ropes and pulling in new ADSS/aerial fiber. Ascending to telephone pole heights via bucket trucks and/or climbing Modifies the circuitry to improve the cables performance. Constructs and examines different types of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices. Establishing OSHA and company/customer safety requirements. Jon Requirements: Must be willing to travel and work away from home. Must be able to perceive differences in wire cable colors. Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings. Well-versed with cable removal, installation, multi-cable transits and other technical requirements. Driver's License is required. Commercial Driver s License is preferred. Must be able to drive all vehicles assigned to the crew. Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle records check and a preemployment drug screen.
