2 male cresties. Now living separately, they were part of a larger rescue, they both have missing “spikes” in the crest area and around the eyes, as well as a LOT of scar tissue from past fights. We have them in 10gallons tanks tipped vertically. They have both gained weight since being separated from the clan, I have taken them off feeding everyday, and they are now on every day. I’ve been feeding them mostly Pangea fig and insect but have started mixing in other flavors mostly watermelon and the banana. They are friendly considering there background. One is a bit more jumpy than the other one, but he’s really easy to watch, and see where he’s headed, and place your hand in the jump zone and no problems whatsoever. I probably wouldn’t allow these guys to be breeders, but honestly I just rescue, I don’t know a darn thing about being a breeder, and things that are okay or not okay physically or whatever when it comes to picking breeders.
