Cacao is called "The Bean of the Gods", used in many ancient civilizations as a conduit to opening the heart and deepening connection others as well as our inner selves. In this cacao ceremony, held on the International Day of Friendship, we will connect through a variety of formats to listen deeper to the yearnings of our souls and open ourselves up to authentic expression. Expect to release your voice, stomp your feet, find moments of stillness and supportive touch, and celebrate the gift of life with our vibrant community. Cacao is a superfood filled with antioxidants, flavonoids, and feel-good neurotransmitters that increase blood circulation and the flow of loving energy. As the cacao connects us to our hearts we can release that which doesn't serve us and call in more of that which offers support and vitality. 25% of all proceeds will be donated to support the Give N' Grow Foundation, a local non-profit that teaches kids valuable mental health and life skills through the lens of basketball. This foundation empowers kids to get in touch with their emotions, find their inner strength, develop concentration through meditation and visualization, and adopt an attitude of gratitude.
