Premiere of a mini documentary on IMPACT's equity network. What does a network of Montgomery County residents committed to equity in education, economic opportunity, and general well-being and belonging look like? It looks like the faces and stories shared in IMPACT’s new mini documentary about our work called “A Network in Action.” The documentary elevates and amplifies community voices and perspectives speaking to lessons learned and truths illuminated during this past, unprecedented year. Join us for our in-person July “Film and Discussion” event where we will share about our network approach, watch “A Network in Action,” and participate in a post-viewing discussion about the film. This will be our first in-person “Film and Discussion” event in over a year. We’re excited to be gathering in this way, but are mindful about continuing to be vigilant about health and safety protocols. To allow for social distancing, registration for this event is limited to 25 and participants will be required to wear masks. IMPACT is a human-centered network tackling root causes of racial and economic disparities. IMPACT offers a wide range of events and programs, ranging from potlucks and block parties to classes and workshops, where residents can meet, learn, and build community. From youth attending our sports programs to parents who are looking for ways to improve their family’s well-being, our programs are built to foster a strong, resilient community and build leaders with the tools to make lasting, systemic change in our community.
