The Howlin' Brothers on the Bronson Green! August 13th- The Howlin' Brothers are a Nashville-based old-time country blues/string band consisting of singer/songwriters Ian Craft (fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and kick-drum), Jared Green (guitar, harmonica, and piano), and Dan Swan (upright bass). They were described by AllMusic as "an Americana string band, but a reconfigured 21st century version, incorporating rock, pop, gospel, jazz, R&B, Dixieland, country blues, and who knows what else into the mix." A little something for everyone! You can't help but like these guys...I promise!! Gates open at 6:30/Music at 7pm Pack you picnic, your blanket or lawn chair, your favorite beverage to enjoy and get on down to the Green! Parking at the G.A.R. Hall or at 1685 Main Street General Admission- 20.00 This is a rain or shine event. If it rains, we will move inside to the G.A.R. Hunker and serves area residents, visitors, and school children by promoting historic preservation, maintaining archives, preserving artifacts, and providing tours of our historic buildings. Our mission is to preserve the heritage, maintain the character and promote the vitality of Peninsula, Ohio and the Cuyahoga Valley by engaging the community through arts and educational programming and historic preservation.
