Facility located in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn is looking for: FULL TIME Maintenance Worker. 5 days a week, 9am - 5pm. MUST work every 3rd weekend. Job Duties - Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures. Install light switches, receptacles, ballast, and light fixtures, etc. - Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures - Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs - Perform basic carpentry functions, i.e., mount book shelves, cabinets etc - Preventive maintenance and testing of emergency door alarm, fire alarm, extinguishers, sprinkles, standpipe systems, water temperatures, and refrigerator readings. Job Requirements - Must be able to lift, push, and move heavy equipment and supplies weighing up to 80 lbs throughout the workday - Must have flexible availability. - Must have great customer service skills. - Must be able to multitask in a fast pace environment Please submit Resume to apply for position.
