Appliance Service Technician : As an Appliance Service Technician, you must be highly organized and possess excellent communication skills. A successful individual is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude. Daily responsibilities include: Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc. Requirements of the Service Technician role include: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment. Electrical troubleshooting skills a plus. Run equipment through "cycles" to ensure the complete system is functioning properly Following unit installation, inspects equipment to ensure proper function. Maintains a neat and orderly truck, along with accurate part and tool inventory, reports level of field inventory as required. Keeps Service Manager informed of all significant problems, progress or difficulties. Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship Completes work orders, expense reports, and daily and weekly time logs. Must be 21 or older or have driver's license for 3 years Other job related duties as assigned.
