Independent Contractor Driver Hiring Event on 7/10/21 from 10am-2pm. Job description Capstone Logistics is having a hiring event 7/10/21 LOCAL DELIVERY CONTRACTORS and Package Sorters WANTED LOCATION: HILTON GARDEN INN WESTBURY 1575 PRIVADO ROAD WESTBURY NY 11590 TIME: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM LOCAL DELIVERY CONTRACTORS and Package Sorters WANTED DELIVERING OFFICE SUPPLIES FOR STAPLES * Both drivers and contractors are welcome - If you're unable to meet the contracting requirements, we can help pair you with a contractor looking for a great driver.* Routes average 120-150 delivery pieces per day minimum, and average 50 stops per day minimum. I. BENEFITS: · Operations run Monday through Friday · Flexible Schedule – Load at 5 AM until 5 PM · Local Deliveries and Dedicated Routes · Weekly Settlements (Avg. $275-300/daily) II. REQUIREMENTS: · A registered, fully insured vehicle (Auto Commercial - $100k +) · A valid driver’s license and clean driving record – CDL not required! · Eligible Smartphone · Pass a Background Check/Drug Screen/Motor Vehicle Records · Ability to regularly handle packages up to 70 pounds III. PREFERRED VEHICLES: !! Vehicles MUST BE provided by the contractors !! 12’ to 16’ Box Truck · Sprinter Vans · Cargo Vans Package Sorters Starting $17.50/hr or higher based off productivity - Schedule: Mon-Fri 12:00a – Finish • Able to work over night • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs • Reliable form of transportation • Self-motivated • Self-starter
