Yoga for Moms
Moms need some down time, too! Led by WildKind ambassador and trained yoga instructor Kim May, this hour-long yoga session is for mamas only!
About Kim: Kim was raised in Colorado with an outdoor lifestyle. She found yoga when playing competitive sports in high school as a reprieve from the demanding schedules. Through college it became more than just exercise, as it helped to not hurt her knees and joints further. Kim found that yoga helped her maintain her flexibility, energy, strength, and most importantly calmed her mind. It taught her to be even more appreciative for her surroundings and cherish the little things in life. Kim completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at ONE Yoga. Then, she went on to complete her 500 hour teacher training at Kindness Yoga. She also has certifications in restorative yoga as well as prenatal and postnatal yoga. Her passion is supporting mothers through all the stages of motherhood. She has over a thousand hours of teaching in studios in Denver and has run multiple boutique retreats. Kim truly believes there is something in yoga for everyone; you just have to have an open mind and heart. Her teaching style is simple; she encourages all of her students to tap into their true strength, embrace their sense of discovery, and rejuvenate their mind, body and spirit. To witness a student elevating themselves to their highest is an honor and a gift as a teacher. Whether they had a breakthrough moment in yoga, navigating their lives, or letting go of limiting beliefs; she is continually blessed to see the power of the practice create epic shifts in their lives.
