A Celebration of Love for Papa Dave Smeltz $20 Donation ALL AGES A Celebration of Love for Papa Dave Smeltz On Sunday, July 25 at 4pm, A Celebration of Love for Papa Dave Smeltz at the Beachland Ballroom Music will be in both tavern and ballroom until 11 PM featuring more than 60 musicians paying tribute to Cleveland reggae legend Dave Smeltz who lost a battle with COVID and other health issues last month. Proceeds will go to the family and Dave's nonprofit recovery project Clean House. Special tribute merchandise will be available. Because of COVID concerns we ask that only fully vaccinated people attend. We will be questioning people at the door and providing masks for those who are still concerned. We will open up the rear of the ballroom as an outdoor patio for those needing fresh air. And we are limiting capacity to 70% so the rooms are not too crowded. We will be live streaming both rooms for those who are not yet comfortable or have not been fully vaccinated yet.
