Steven King Carpets is a full-service resource for the New England design community, offering an outstanding selection of new carpets, custom reproductions, and broadloom in all ranges of fibers and materials. Our team is devoted to researching, locating, and offering the finest selection of carpets available. We are currently hiring motivated individuals to join our team in The Boston Design Center. Primary Rolls: • Assist in product viewing, which includes flipping rug piles, locating specific rugs for projects using inventory numbers and photos. • Bailing of rugs for home deliveries, UPS as well as helping clients get samples in and out of their car. • Assist with rug displays and merchandising in the showroom. • Assist other showroom employees in all aspects to ensure the best customer service possible. • General Maintenance of the showroom upkeep such as daily cleaning and small repairs if needed. • Shipping and receiving Required Skills: • Strong Communication skills • Able to work on projects as a team as well as solo projects • Ability to lift 50+ pounds Experience: • Experience in High end showrooms a plus. • Some Microsoft computer knowledge a plus Education: • High school or equivalent Benefits: • Paid time off (Personal, Vacation, and Holidays) • Health insurance contribution Compensation: $15/hr Hours are Monday -Friday 9-5
