HI! I am a drummer of 40 years, I have a performance degree from Berklee, I've studied with many amazing teachers and have played in many great local bands and touring bands in my career. I am now at a point where I just want to play really good music with cool, professional players but without the constant rehearsals & gigging. Ideally, looking to put together two different sessions: 1. High powered Afro-Cuban/R&B session doing classic - contemporary Motown, R&B, funk and latin music including (Drums) Bass, Guitar, Keys, 2-4 horns, 2 singers (male & Female). 2. Up-beat classic-contemporary jazz, latin jazz, smooth jazz trio or quartet (likely instrumental) In both sessions, ideally we rehearse 1 once a month possibly twice if we have a gig. Gigging maybe once every 6-8 weeks. I have a rehearsal space, PA and many local connections for fun community gigs. Lastly, I am not in it for the money as I own two businesses and travel minimum 2 months a year.
