Description
Mature guys....50's-60's, draw influence from 60's to now to create widely diverse music portfolio. Spread too thin? Maybe, help draw in the focus, but don't be one dimensional. ENJOY rhythm and the possibilities of sound from your kit. Don't be Ringo....ok, we like Ringo, but be able to be funky, and hit all the drums, eventually. Who likes polyrhythms?!?!.......anyone?,......anyone?....hello?
We don't do metal, but play with "dark" themes here and there, but then turn on a dime and goof on sunshine sugar pop. We're not going to make any money anyway. No mandolins, but yes to synths on occasion; there are 2 guitarists primarily who take keyboard duties when called for. Think like Pink Floyd- early Sabbath through Sunset Studios, proggy jazz rock, through post punk/ art rock, while trying to bring modern relevance the best we can. We're not Berklee grads/ dropouts, but we prefer you practice at home, enjoy listening to recorded practices, and you know how to articulate ideas of your own.
Currently we practice in Bedford on a weeknight between Tue-Thu, Wednesday the default night in my non-smoking basement.
