Auto Body Repair Technician Part-time or Full-time Auto Body Collision Repair Technician 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Flat Rate Pay up to $30hr. The dynamic auto repair facility is looking for experienced tech to join our collision team in a forward-moving company to restore damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance. Work in a quality-oriented atmosphere with a cooperative team of technicians. Job Requirements Must have previous professional experience as an automotive body tech Must be able to work independently without supervision Working knowledge of shop equipment Valid ID or Driver’s License Duties and Responsibilities may include: Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders. Fill depressions with body filler. Remove damaged fenders, panels Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment. Straighten bent automobile frames. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces. Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
