LA's Mycological Society hosts its first fungi focused reading group to discuss Merlin Sheldrake's international bestseller Entangled Life. We are excited to announce the formation of LAMS Reading the Mycoverse, a fungi focused reading group. There have been a number of excellent books related to mycology published over the recent years and we are forming a group to collectively read some of these books and share our thoughts. We will begin with Merlin Sheldrake's international bestseller Entangled Life. It's an accessible read for all those interested in mycology (the audiobook edition is read by the author, and is recommended too!). We would also like to have some time in our first meeting to discuss the interest and format of our new reading group! Recommended to bring something to sit on as we will be discussing picnic style outdoors at Griffith Park's Bette Davis Picnic Area. Hope to see you soon!
