It's a European staycation right here! Take a trip with us to the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Enoch's Stomp Vineyards and Winery Are you missing Europe, too? What about live theater? Do you need a mini vacation? Join LSUS Provost Dr. Helen Taylor and the LSUS Foundation for a hint of Europe right here. Jump on the luxury Mercedes Sprinter van for the hour trip to Kilgore, Texas, Home of the Texas Shakespeare Festival. We have tickets to the 2PM matinee of The Book of Will. Dr. Taylor hails from London, England, and, prior to becoming provost, was an exceptional professor in the LSUS English Department. Our tour guide is an expert for our European Staycation. After the theater, we will make our way to Enoch's Stomp Vineyard and Winery, fifteen minutes away. There we will enjoy dinner and a lovely glass of wine surrounded by the beautiful vineyards. Your ticket includes the coach, theater, dinner and wine. Tickets are limited to 15!!! Plan to be gone from noon to 7PM. The sprinter van will leave from the LSUS campus. The LSUS Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation whose sole mission is to foster private support for Louisiana State University in Shreveport, manage investments, and serve as trustee for funds and other contributed assets for the benefit of the university. All proceeds from this event go to support our efforts with LSUS.
