I was struggling to find an appropriate wine at Meijer's in Carmel today. You magically appeared and I asked you if you knew anything about wines. You said, "A little." A little?! You're a Master Sommelier! Wow. You could have been in that great movie (from a number of years ago) in which wine played a key role, "Sideways." Your descriptions of the different types of wine was sublime. Indeed, it was artistic. So, to you - whose name I didn't get - thank you! I greatly appreciate your taking the time to walk me through the many choices. And, I'm glad that you persuaded me to stay away from the Rose. :-) I'm from out of town, but will be here quite a bit over the next few months. If you'd like to get a glass of wine with me, I'd be delighted to treat you to your choice (wine and restaurant/bar) as a thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. If you do by some miracle see this post & want to respond, could you let me know something about you and/or me and/or the wine that you recommended to me (so that I know you're not some imposter on CL)?
