Position Summary: The University of Alaska Southeast, Juneau campus, is accepting applications for an 12-month, full-time Custodian/Maintenance Service Worker (MSW1). The incumbent will clean and protect university facilities, grounds and surrounding areas by performing custodial maintenance duties including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning/sanitizing and restocking restrooms, grounds keeping and removing snow, ice and debris. Some responsibilities are required to be performed outside of normal business hours. This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and Alaska Higher Education Crafts & Trades Employees Local 6070.
