Join the Merrimack River Watershed Council on a paddling trip in Newburyport and Joppa Flats area! Join the Merrimack River Watershed Council on a paddling trip in Newburyport and Joppa Flats area with the local Massachusetts based company Plum Island Kayak. The Council invites the community to explore the river from a kayak! We will begin our paddle in Newburyport. The guide will lead the group around the culturally rich Newburyport waters and along the biodiverse edge of Joppa Flats. The tour will always stay on the river and never out on the open ocean. This will be a 3-hour tour with the blend of relaxation, exploration, and adventure, to get you out on the water, and into the sunshine!
