Spend the morning on our flower farm and cut and create your own bouquet in the Russian River Valley just an hour north of San Francisco. Join us at Poppies & Petals Farm and cut and create your very own bouquet with specialty cut flowers that we have been lovingly caring and tending for since this Spring. HERE’S WHAT TO BRING... CLEAN jar, vase or other container. This is for you to take your flowers home in. We have water to fill up your jar, so your flowers will stay fresh on the way home. Your vessel should be clean enough to drink out of! Farm appropriate shoes/sandals. We have a gravel driveway and uneven dirt on the walkways. Watch your step! Gloves. If you want to protect your hands when removing leaves from your stems. Water bottles. The sun can get hot! Sunscreen and or a hat. The U-Cut Flower Garden is an open field, without shade. HOW IT WORKS Park in the lot by the U-Cut Flower Garden. Walk over to the Check-In Flower Bar with your vase. We’ll be here to welcome you and show you how to cut your flowers. Grab a pitcher. You will carry this out into the garden and put your freshly cut flowers into it. This also helps us “measure” the amount of flowers you cut. Please only cut 1 focal flower / Sunflower per pitcher as we are just starting the Flower Season and we want to make sure that there are enough flowers for everyone. Have fun! There are many types of flowers and foliage to choose from, so be sure to explore every row! Transfer your flowers to your own vase, bucket, etc. to take them home. Our pitchers/buckets are not for sale. Enjoy your flowers!
