American tapas cooking class In a reunion of the Southern Season Cooking School, a local culinary institution that closed in early 2020, join Chefs Ellen, Kim and Leslie for a reunion where they will take you on a trip around the country and show you how to prepare tapas popular in their native regions. Chef Leslie Chartier, Owner of the Travelling Cafe, will be covering dessert tapas from the Northeast, Chef Ellen Clevenger-Firley (M.S., R.D., L.D.N.) from the Baltimore area, and Chef Kim Calway (NC & Louisiana) from the South. This is a demonstration cooking class with wine pairings. Wines will be available for sale after the class. MENU: Baltimore hot crab dip with crostini (paired with Sean Minor Central Coast Chardonnay) Pesto roasted shrimp skewers (paired with Murphy Goode Sauvignon Blanc) Corn fritter with a basil corn cream sauce (paired with Chateau Ste Michelle Pinot Gris) Pork BBQ with grilled peaches on a hoe cake (paired with Havenscourt Pinot Noir) Northeastern whoopie pie (paired with Bully Hill Sweet Walter Red) Maine blueberry frozen custard in a pizzelle bowl (paired with Twisted Moscato)
